Mare Street Market: The One Stop Shop

Mare Street Market has a lot to offer… located in the heart of Hackney, this buzzing, trendy hub is the perfect one-stop-shop.

Under one roof, you will find formal and casual eateries, bars, a coffee counter, a florist, an antiques store, a vinyl store and even a tattoo parlour. The classic warehouse-style venue provides the perfect location to do a spot of shopping, have a little pamper, enjoy a social brunch, a quiet dinner or to grab a coffee while you take a seat to check your emails.

We take a closer look at what makes this place stand out…

EATING AND DRINKING:

The Open Kitchen takes up lots of space – it’s big and beautiful, with communal tables, soft couches and greenery everywhere you look. The menu has something for everyone: burgers, salads, wood-fired pizza and loads of hearty, vegetarian options.

The slightly more formal Market Dining Room offers the same delicious menu but in a more intimate space, set aside from the bar under the glow of designer Pure White Lines’ chandeliers and design pieces (you can purchase their products at the market too!).

The Deli evolves depending on the time… By day, there is a changing array of delicious sandwiches, salads, cakes, and more. In the evening, The Deli takes the form of a relaxed wine bar with a rotating selection of natural wines, complimented by an assortment of small plates made to order.

Flying Horse Coffee is a London roastery with a handful of venues across London. The Mare Street Market location is cool and trendy with a simple menu. There is a convenient take-away hatch for those on the go too. They also sell their own blend and merch!
