Woodberry Down hosts 10th annual Summer Screening event!

For the 10th consecutive year, Woodberry Down hosted its highly anticipated Summer Screening event. The outdoor cinematic experience is the perfect weekend-long event for all the family, showing a selection of films across three days, as well as the Wimbledon finals, on a large screen in Spring Park. The free event is open to residents of Woodberry Down and members of the wider community.

This year, films included family classics such as The Parent Trap, Minions 2 and Hairspray, as well as newer box-office hits Avatar: World of Water and Top Gun Maverick. Attendees brought picnic blankets, cushions and camping chairs to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere surrounded by Woodberry Down’s abundant green space.

David Barry, Operations Director at Berkeley Homes (North East London) Ltd comments: “The Summer Screenings are a fantastic example of how close-knit the Woodberry Down community is, and is just one of many events we run throughout the year to bring people together. Berkeley creates places that are uniquely designed to provide a mix of homes and amenities for everyone to enjoy, and the thriving community at Woodberry Down, 14 years into the regeneration of this neighbourhood, is an exciting testament to our placemaking commitments and to our partnership with Manor House Development Trust, Notting Hill Genesis and Hackney Council.”
