Woodberry Down and the surrounding area is home to some of North London’s quirkiest pubs.

The Naturalist:

The Naturalist is one of Woodberry Down’s best kept secrets. Don’t be fooled with the pubs modern exterior; the interior is rustic and filled with character. What’s more, there is an outdoor terrace offering stunning views overlooking the Woodberry Wetlands. The Naturalist is home to a large range of mocktails, cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and ales, as well as a sumptuous food menu comprising British pub favourites, so whatever your taste, this is the perfect spot for you!

The Faltering Fullback:

The Faltering Fullback is a quirky Irish bar located on the outskirts of Finsbury Park.  It is best known for its mouthwatering authentic Thai food and impressive selection of drinks. The pub offers a traditional interior and hosts an array of sports, music, quizzes, and an eclectic, lively atmosphere. As you ascend the building, you are greeting by a fabulous enclosed rooftop terrace with an enchanting, tropical garden – perfect for al fresco drinks during those warmer days!

The Worlds End:

If you’re after a lively, party filled environment then look no further than The Worlds End pub in Finsbury Park. This buzzing destination offers live music every weekend from an array of genres performed by musicians from all over the country. The White Lion

Located in Stroud Green, this modern and stylish gastropub offers a spectacular menu of delicious, seasonal pub classics, and also prides itself on its extensive drinks’ menu. The most difficult decision is choosing what to eat … from beer battered haddock and triple cooked chips, crispy fried chicken burger or a whole host of vegetarian and vegan options including plant burgers and vegan hot dogs. It’s safe to say that the White Lion has a little something for everyone!

The Black Stock:

If you’re a sports enthusiast, The Black Stock may be exactly what you’re looking for. The kooky venue can be found at the heart of Finsbury Park, a one-minute walk away from tube station. The interior is filled with character, with pictures and mirrors hanging from every wall, accompanied by numerous mounted televisions devoted to a wide range of sports.  What’s more, you can order a delicious pizza from the Yard Sale Pizza menu whilst sipping on your favourite tipple.
