Monologue on Shoreditch’s achingly cool Redchurch Street is dedicated to championing up and coming designers and the best contemporary talent the design world has to offer.

The boutique store, founded by interior designer Pavel Klimczack, is laid out like a perfectly executed moodboard of colour, form, texture and craftsmanship. Chosen by Klimczack himself, products including furniture, lighting, decorative accessories, soft furnishings and tableware seek to offer something a bit out of the ordinary.

The stores interior feels fresh and fun with pops of bright colour. Bolstered by a tightly edited collection of more established brands, pieces from emerging designers, although functional, are selected for their little quirks. Designs that play with material or shape inject a touch of humour and character into the range. It’s definitely worth stopping here to browse high end pieces that are a little less ordinary.
