Mamachari Bikes

Little known to most, the Japanese Mamachari bike is perhaps the most practical bike for city use. Noah Fisher is all too familiar with the utility bicycle. Establishing Mamachari Bikes in Dalston in 2012, he is a specialist in adapting bikes to suit all needs.

Inspired by his own experience, Noah combines quality with affordability, offering sturdy, imported bicycles, often fitted with seats for toddlers.

“We regularly rode with our kids up the up from Hackney to Walthamstow, along the Lea River. You can get onto the tow-path down at Millfields Park and ride north, following the river past Springfield Park, and up to Tottenham Marshes.”
